Yellowknives Dene First Nation has taken on new projects to address existing priorities and take advantage of short-term funding opportunities.  Often these projects touch on the responsibilities of a number of existing YKDFN departments.

• Gardening infrastructure and programming
• Wood pellet and district heating
• Tourism infrastructure
• Yellowknife River shoreline cleanup
