In order to better assist Yellowknives Dene First Nation Members, the YKDFN De Beers and Diavik Implementation Offices have been combined to form a single YKDFN IBA Implementation Division and managed by the Human Resources Division.  YKDFN HR/IBA also partner with mining companies to provide small projects which enhance employment for our membership.

The IBA Implementation Division is responsible for assisting in the coordination and implementation of the Participation Agreement(s) with mining companies to ensure that established goals and objectives are met as per defined priorities, timelines and budgets of a work plan. Also, can offer support with training, employment, education initiatives, and provide support to ensure the well-being and productivity of YKDFN mine employees and their families. All interactions with clients and/or members are held confidential.

Angela Lafferty is an Implementation Coordinator and focuses on the De Beers Canada Inc. Implementation Agreement and Grace Martin is the Human Resources Liaison Coordinator, her main focus is on the Diavik Diamond Mine Inc. Implementation Agreement.  Although, each coordinator has specific mine portfolios both will be working together as a team unit.

The IBA Implementation Division is located at the Dettah Administration Office and can be available at the Ndilo Administration Office.
