Geotechnical Investigation Along Sikyea Tili

The Yellowknives Dene First Nation (YKDFN) would like to inform residents and community members that a geotechnical investigation will be conducted on the lot adjacent to the school along Sikyea Tili.

The investigation will involve drilling approximately 25 boreholes to determine the depth and characteristics of the underlying bedrock. This important work will help support future planning and development activities in the area.

Work Schedule

• Dates: Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14
• Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Please be advised that drilling activities will generate noticeable noise during these hours.
